The game has been made available on the website through a GitHub project called the “Super Mario 64 decomp project.” Although Nintendo has in the past cracked down on multiple cracked versions of the game, the company hasn’t yet taken down this edition of the game. The game has been available on browsers for over four months and was first reported by Nintendo Life in April. Super Mario 64 was released on the Nintendo 64 console back in 1996 and was the first Super Mario game to feature 3D gameplay.
